12회를 맞이한 인디애니페스티벌 2016에서 한예종 애니과 츨신인 장나리가 대상및 관객상, 이현미가 KIAFA 특별상을 수상 하였습니다.

시놉시스
그녀는 어린 시절 아버지로부터 학대를 받았다. 아버지와 헤어져 살게 된 후에 그녀는 어린 시절의 상처도 아버지에 대한 증오도 점점 잊어간다. 그러던 어느 날, 그녀는 뜻밖의 순간에 가족에게 버림받은 아버지의 시간들을 떠올리며 혼란스러워진다.
She was abused by her father during childhood. Since he left, the pain and anger had begun to fade. One day, unexpectedly, she was struck by a revelation about her father's life that cast her feelings about him into confusion.
연출의도
가족은 때론 남보다 더 못하다. 그럼에도 불구하고 정서적 유대를 끊어내기란 쉽지 않다. 그래서 증오하고 연민할 수 밖에 없다. 이들은 서로의 삶에 상처를 내고 아물지 않는 상처를 가지고 어딘가 결핍된 삶을 간다.
Sometimes, family members can be worse than strangers. Despite this, it's difficult to reject a blood relative. In this story, mutual hatred, and also pity, festers within a family, and the sore remains open. Regardless, they continue on.

피아노가 치기 싫어진 아이에게 피아노는 마치 자기를 잡아먹는 괴물처럼 보인다. 하지만 피아노는 도망치는 아이를 마냥 쫓아다니며 전처럼 즐겁게 함께 놀기를 바라는데..
To the kid who doesn’t want to play the piano anymore, the piano looks like a monster, eating the kid up. But the piano, following the kid, wants to play with the kid cheerfully like they did before...
연출의도
이것은 2013년에 그렸던 ‘피아노와 소년’ 이라는 나와 나의 그림에 관한 연작 일러스트레이션을 애니메이션으로 만든 것이다. 예술이나 창작을 하는 사람이라면 한 번쯤은 느꼈을, 여느 연인 사이의 감정 변화와 크게 다르지 않는 그런 애착, 마음의 변화를 표현해보고 싶었다.
In 2013 I created serial illustrations A Piano and a Boy, a story about my drawings and me, and the animation is originated from it. I am eager to express the rhythmic relation between art and the artists, all creators have felt, similar to the attachment and the changing emotions between lovers.
